The north wind doth blow…

It’s Monday, it’s cold and there’s a tube strike. For all three reasons I have no news of interest to report. That’s not to say I did nothing all day; in fact I went to Notting Hill and back by bus to accompany Mary Ann to the local branch of the Philippine National Bank. In the bank a TV was broadcasting news from the Philippines – the weather forecast for Manila was temperatures of 24-31 degrees Celsius, which if anything put me in an even gloomier mood, not helped that on the one and a half hour journey home through appalling traffic I was thrashed by my phone in several games of Backgammon. Now all we need is snow.

But while we Londoners are waiting, here’s a topical cartoon by Dave Walker:

Snow
