So yesterday I was ranting about the inability of UK Mail to deliver a package at a convenient time. Was it delivered last night, as promised? What do you think?
So I phoned UK Mail again today to find out what has happened to my delivery.
“It should be delivered today… let me check the time. Oh that’s late – 7pm.”
With a strong sense of deja vu, I pointed out “But I won’t be there at 7pm. The office closes at 5.”
“No problem – I’ll send a message to the driver to deliver before 5.”
“Actually I had the strong impression that the package would be delivered yesterday and made arrangements for someone to receive it.”
“Yes but the driver was in the area too late.”
“If it hasn’t arrived by 4 give us a call.”
Let’s see if it’s third time lucky.
